Certified translation
A certified translation is a translation completed by a certified translator whereby the translator puts their seal or stamp on each page of the completed translation to certify that it has been completed accurately and to the best of their ability. Certified translators have to be part of an official body of linguists to provide certified translations.
Sworn translation
A sworn translation is a translation completed by a sworn translator whereby the translator puts their seal or stamp on each page of the completed translation to certify that it has been completed accurately and to the best of their ability. Sworn translators must undergo a process of accreditation to be approved by legal or governmental bodies to produce sworn translations. Sworn translations carry legal weight and are for use in court or during legal proceedings.
